GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT is a high-mobility mecha action game from Bandai Namco Studios set in an all-new Gundam universe. You play as RE-X, pilot of the Gundam Helix, alongside your Haro companion Vii, fighting through epic battles across space and diverse planets against the growing threat of the Apocalypse.
High-Mobility Combat

When does GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT release?+
GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT launches March 4, 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam. The official Bandai Namco site lists March 5, 2027, but the Steam store page and all pre-order materials use March 4 — we use the Steam date across the wiki. Pre-orders are live now on all three platforms.
What comes with the pre-order bonus?+
Pre-ordering any edition grants early unlock of the Earth Blue Color Customization, letting you repaint your mobile suit with the Earth Blue scheme from day one. This is available on all platforms through the respective storefront pre-purchase pages.
What is the difference between Standard and Deluxe?+
The Standard Edition is the base game. The Deluxe Edition adds a Mission Reward Booster, a Mobile Suit Color Pack, a Premium MOD Skins Set, and Digital Artwork & Music Selection. If you care about cosmetics and progression boosts, the Deluxe is the better value; if you only want the core game, Standard is enough.
Which mobile suits are confirmed so far?+
The Gundam Helix is the confirmed protagonist machine, piloted by RE-X, and it is the centerpiece of the game's original universe. A pre-order bonus variant called the Gundam Helix (Earth Blue Ver.) has also been revealed alongside its HG model kit. More units are expected as Bandai Namco continues marketing the game.
What are Apocalypse Units (AP-U)?+
Apocalypse Units are equippable equipment that complement your combat strategy and define how your mobile suit plays. Combined with parts slots and saved loadouts, they let the same frame play very differently. The Deluxe Edition's Premium MOD Skins Set adds cosmetic mod skins on top of the AP-U system.
Does GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT support co-op?+
Yes — the Steam store page lists Multi-player and Online Co-op categories, and the game supports online co-op alongside its single-player story. Exact player counts and crossplay details have not been fully detailed by Bandai Namco yet, so we treat those as community data until confirmed.
What are the PC system requirements?+
The Steam store page currently lists a 64-bit processor and operating system as the base requirement, with detailed minimum and recommended specs marked TBA. Steam API data also lists Denuvo Anti-Tamper. We will update the system requirements page as soon as Bandai Namco announces full specs.
